Nothing more refreshing than taking your family out for a walk on a weekend. What seems hard and impossible to do in Jakarta is easily done in Singapore. From picturesque bays to a lavish zoo and the colorful little India, the options are numerous in Singapore.

Here are Libur Keluarga’s favorite strolls.

Jalan jalan high tech: Marina Bay Sands

Need we say more about this area? Imagine sunset walks with the family in the Esplanade area, continued by a view of the city at night from the Sands Sky Park. If your kids are 4 years and older, take them to see Tao, the Japanese drum & dance ensemble at the Sands theatre

Jalan jalan di pinggir sungai: Boat Quay and Clarke Quay

Picturesque at night and probably most enjoyable for drinks and dinner. A recommended walk starts at Raffles and the spacey pedestrian lanes all the way to the quays are comfortable for strollers too. Most food choices are at Boat Quay and Clarke Quay has fun waterspouts coming from the ground

Jalan jalan antara budaya: Little India and China Town

An adventurous and colorful trip through quirky stalls, funky boutiques and gorgeous architecture, this stroll may just be the most fun for the moms and dads.

Jalan jalan di dalam laut: Underwater World & Jurong Birdpark:

Descent into the deep and walk pass bright corals in this Sentosa-based Underwater World. Or have yourself surrounded by 9000 feathered friends at the Jurong Birdpark. Must be one of the unique walks ever for the whole family.

Jalan jalan di bawah tanah: MRT rides!

Let your kids map out a route with the MRT or the Singaporean buses and enjoy a day of non-planning and just seeing where the ride ahead will take you
